This answers so many questions

My husband and I were joking last night that so much of human evolution happened because of predators, lions in particular, that I had to make a T-shirt.
Why are we bi-pedal? To look for lions in tall grass.
Why are we visually inclined towards pattern recognition? To spot the lions
Why are we so attracted to fire? It keeps the lions away
Why do we tend to remember negative events? Because we remember when the Lions got Jerry. Now let's throw rocks at the grass in case of lions.

    Maybe "you" can see over the tall grass and see lions....I see grass stems...guess that makes me "lunch"!

      And that's why kids often become taller than their parents, too see over the tall grass to spot the lions for their folks. ^_^

    That and to reach stuff down from upper cupboards! Not to mention all the hormones that were injected into your food when you were growing up. I wonder if that means that the next generation is going to be shorter now that we know better...that's not right...now that we have forced the food industry to smarten up! BTW see any lions from the 15th floor?

      Nope no lions, but I do have a Deadly Puma in the box next to my chair.
      One thing Sean and I really want once we have a house is to try growing more food. Having fresh tomatoes, zucchini, peppers, herbs and a couple different types of berries would be amazing.

      You inherited the green thumb...maybe you could have a balcony garden...tomatoes grow well in pots as do chives, mint and other herbs. There are hanging baskets of strawberries too. You might have to fight off the birds though!

    See any lions from the 15th floor? First kids got taller than their parents from better nutrition, then from all the hormones injected into the food supply...I wonder if the next generation is going to be shorter now that the food industry has been forced to smarten up. Unless you were a throw back to my grandmother...you didn't have a hope of being shorter than I!
